“The #1 New York Times Bestseller You Are A Badass is the self-help book for people who desperately want to improve their lives but don’t want to get busted doing it.
In this refreshingly entertaining how-to guide, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author and world-traveling success coach, Jen Sincero, serves up 27 bite-sized chapters full of hilariously inspiring stories, sage advice, easy exercises, and the occasional swear word. If you’re ready to make some serious changes around here, You Are a Badass will help you: Identify and change the self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviors that stop you from getting what you want, blast past your fears so you can take big exciting risks, figure out how to make some damn money already, learn to love yourself and others, set big goals and reach them – it will basically show you how to create a life you totally love, and how to create it now.
By the end of You Are a Badass, you’ll understand why you are how you are, how to love what you can’t change, how to change what you don’t love, and how to use The Force to kick some serious ass.”
Now one thing I’ve noticed throughout this week of self-help is that most self help books the author uses his or her personal story and this book was no different. While reading the author shared this adorable moment that she shared with her niece that touched my heart in many ways.
Something that I absolutely loved while reading this book were the titles of each chapter. They were unique and eye-catching. Some of them even made me laugh our loud, while my sister gave me odd looks.
The book itself is all about self-love and just becoming the best person you can be but one of the things I really liked reading were the first few chapters. The author doesn’t just jump into ways to make your life better but she tells why your life isn’t so great at the moment. She talks about different strategies and signs to be aware of to make sure your life is a positive and amazing as it can be.
Overall, I rate this book a 5 out of 5. I’ll admit one of the reasons I decided to read this book was because of the empowering tittle. I mean just reading it I feel more empowered and motivated to start my day. I completely understand why this book was on the top of the self help book list, its amazing. There were jokes along the way and moments where I could relate on what the author was saying. This book is a must read for 2019, that’s for sure. I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, you’ve just been reviewed.
