‘Twilight’ by Stephenie Meyer

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him—and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be—that thirsted for my blood.

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

In the first book of the Twilight Saga, internationally bestselling author Stephenie Meyer introduces Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, a pair of star-crossed lovers whose forbidden relationship ripens against the backdrop of small-town suspicion and a mysterious coven of vampires. This is a love story with bite.

Rose-Worthy Features

I’ll admit when I first decided to read ‘Twilight’ I already watched the movies and I wasn’t that impressed. After I’ve read the first book I can state I’m officially obsessed!

For starters I loved Edward in the book. He had more emotion then he did and the movie and was more playful and cocky and I loved it! Bella was a nice character and I liked her loner but cool personality, it was interesting.

The plot began to pick up a lot more towards the end and I couldn’t stop reading! I already knew what was going to happen (struggle of seeing the movie first) but I still was so curious about what would happen next. There were so many things that happened in the book that didn’t happen in the movie and I loved all of it!

The romance between Bella and Edward seemed much more enjoyable and honestly less cringe compared to the movies. It was so sweet and there were so many moments that made me smile.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I rate this book a 4.5 out of 5. This book was so fun to read. Even though there are people who don’t like ‘Twilight’ I’m definitely not one of them. I’m going to read the second book so make sure to look out for that review 😉 I was so surprised with how much I enjoyed reading this book. ‘Twilight’ was one of those books that has been on my TBR list but I never got around to reading but I’m officially taking every book that’s been on my TBR for way to long and reading it. So look out Harry Potter books your next. I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, you’ve  just been reviewed.

I’ve been a fan of the saga since highschool and now that I am working, I thought that my views about the series would change as I became more mature but, nope. I decided re-read the books recently and still swoon over Edward Cullen😍twihard forever😂😎
